We were inspired by the nearby Bolhão market.

With the careful selection of colours and materials we wanted to bring to this flat the colourful atmosphere of the market.

The traditional linen on the window, the iron bed, the woolen rug and the swallows remind us of the typical Portuguese house from the beginning of the 20th century.

We kept the pine floor and the kitchen, changed the distribution of the living room and bedroom to allow a better fluidity and introduced warm colours on the walls and ceilings creating a greater sense of comfort.
